Groove Don’t Lie the Series are podcasts and videos of intimate discussions with musicians, authors, visual artists, athletes, and other luminaries about what groove means to them, how they experience groove in their work and personal lives, and what can be done to find the groove when it is missing. The secret ingredient is the host, Gerry Brown, the OG groove master whose history and legacy as a musician, longevity, personality and demeanor seamlessly connect the guests and the audience. Like Groove Don’t Lie the Series, Groove Don’t Lie Live are intimate discussions with musicians, authors, visual artists, athletes, and other luminaries. The difference is that Groove Don’t Lie Live is in front of an audience.  These live events often feature rare audio and video recordings, behind-the-scenes tales from the road, and the true stories of how some of music’s most iconic songs came to be. Guests also discuss groove; how they tap into it to stay mentally and physically healthy, to collaborate, and to perform at the highest level while chaos swirls all around them; and, importantly, how you can do the same in these challenging times. Most Groove Don’t Lie Live events culminate with a brief performance from Gerry, the scheduled guests, and occassionally…just occassionally…a surprise guest or two! The Groove Don’t Lie Live shows are a must for fans, historians, and all musicians. Groove Foodies harmonizes food and music, two of life’s greatest, global, and most unifying experiences. Building on the success of its live events, Groove Foodies is launching a web series. Produced by Groove Don’t Lie Production’s founder, the legendary drummer Gerry Brown (Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, etc.), each episode will explore an iconic concert, a groundbreaking album, or an incredible moment in music paired with the food and drink that accompanied it, that was inspired by it, or that was the inspiration for it. The stories will be shared, embellished and disputed by the frontmen, the divas, the musicians, the producers, and the roadies who were there.
